SOUNDBITE (Dari): GHULAM JILANI WAFA, Senior advisor for Afghanistan's Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation
"The aerial bridge between the Republic of Türkiye and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan once again assures us that the Republic of Türkiye and the Turkish people stand alongside us in any circumstances. Air travel and the flights flying to Kabul and vice versa would have a positive impact on cultural and economic relations between the two countries."
Turkish Airlines is scheduled to operate four round-trip flights a week between Istanbul and Kabul.
