France: Young Deer Rescued and Released by Firefighters in Chambly

A young deer was successfully released back into the wild after firefighters intervened on Thursday, May 30th, in Chambly, in the southern part of Oise.
On Thursday afternoon, May 30th, an unusual incident required the attention of Chambly's firefighters. A young deer had become stuck while trying to pass through the bars of a gate. Unable to free itself, firefighters, along with a veterinarian, came to its rescue.
Using a tool typically reserved for road accidents, the firefighters managed to widen the bars of the gate and eventually free the deer. The animal appeared slightly injured in the video shared by the Sdis on Twitter. After receiving some medical attention, it was released back into the wild, regaining its freedom.
