USA: Bakersfield Multiple Grass Fires Erupt on Cottonwood Road

07/02/2024 10:14 pm (GMT-0800) | BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Multiple grass fires erupted on Cottonwood Road from East Panama Lane to East White Lane. The Bakersfield Fire Department responded to three separate calls about the fires, according to pulse point. Video shows firefighters extinguishing one fire at East Pacheco Road and Cottonwood Road. A witness walking in the area reported hearing something fly past her, followed by a bang and then a fire. She suggested a possible firework as the cause, but this information has not been confirmed.
