USA: Moore Woman Arrested for Allegedly Attempting to Burn Daughter's Cat Alive

Shocking allegations of animal cruelty have surfaced in Moore as police responded to a distressing call involving a family's pet. Moore Police Department (MPD) released body-cam footage capturing the arrest of Veronica Carrillo, accused of attempting to burn her daughter's cat alive.
The incident unfolded when a teenage girl alerted authorities, reporting that she had discovered her cat inside a pet carrier atop a burning grill. The cat, trapped in a trash bag within the carrier, was rescued just in time, sustaining visible burn marks and singed whiskers but fortunately no serious injuries.
Upon arriving at the scene, MPD found Carrillo lying on the front porch, wrapped in a porch rug. She was promptly arrested on charges of animal cruelty.
As of the latest update, the cat remains in the family's care under supervision.
