Hero police officers rescued a drive and two passengers after their car plunged into a valley in India on a Saturday midnight, July 20.

Footage shows the cops helping a woman clamber from the vehicle that crashed into a valley in the Mahabub Ghats in Telangana.

The three victims, Amanagandla Radhakrishna, his wife Ventaga Durga Kalyani, and their son Premsai from Saroornagar, were able to call the emergency services and give their location.

Sarangapur Sub-Inspector Salla Srikanth said that the three were trapped in their car after it veered off the road at a curve on the ghats and collided with a tree in the valley around 2 AM.

The family was en route to visit Radhakrishna's friend in Nagpur when the incident happened. Upon receiving the call through the Dial 100 service, Sub-Inspector Srikanth, DCRB Inspector Sainath, their drivers, and three patrolling team members rushed to the area.

After struggling for about an hour, they managed to get the three out of the vehicle and promptly transported them to the hospital.

The family thanked the police officers for their swift response.

Superintendent of Police Dr Janaki Sharmila and Panchayat Raj Minister D. Seethakka praised the officers for their bravery in rescuing the victims.

Seethakka said he was being kept informed about the accident and the medical condition of the three individuals involved, who were all treated at hospital for minor injuries.
