Passersby rescue three boys drowning in pond
This is the dramatic moment passersby rescued three boys from drowning in a pond.
Two men spotted the victims thrashing in the water in Guangdong, China, on July 24.
Footage shows one of the boys squatting by the bank to wash his hands, but he slipped and fell into the water. His friends tried to help him but eventually fell in as well.
A young girl, unable to do anything but cry for help, watched as her friends struggled in the water.
A pensioner then saw them and immediately dived in to rescue one of the boys, while another man was seen running towards the pond to assist.
He grabbed a long bamboo pole and extended it, allowing the children to grab onto it so he could pull them out of the water.
The elderly man can be seen panting after retrieving one of the victims.
No injuries were reported.
