Huge queues for giant grilled mushrooms at street food market in Taiwan
Hundreds of customers queue up to taste giant grilled mushrooms at a street food market in Taiwan.
Footage shows a vendor cooking and chopping the mouth-watering King oyster mushrooms at the Shilin Night Market in Taipei on August 11.
The mushrooms are brushed with barbecue sauce and sprinkled with sesame seeds after being placed in a takeaway container.
Tourist Gabrielle, seen in the video, said: 'I was excited about trying the mushrooms. They were worth the wait.'
King oyster mushrooms have nutty, earthy, and meaty flavours. They are high in protein, vitamin B, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, and copper.
