Footage shows how flame-grilled baked potatoes are sold on street food stand in Bangkok, Thailand.

The delicious British meal has proved an unlikely hit on the market in the Srinakarin district of the Thai capital.

Cooks bake the potatoes in a oven before stuffing them with fresh fillings including cheese, tuna, butter and others.

The topping is then flame-grilled with a culinary blow torch - giving the melted cheese mouth-watering crispy texture.

Baked potatoes, also known as jacket potatoes, first emerged in the UK and were sold on the street by food hawkers in the 19th century. They are still popular in restaurants and cafes to this day.
