This is the heartwarming moment a clingy black cat attempted to get a cuddle from his busy owner.

Claire Cartalla was working when Nox, the two-year-old Persian-Siamese mix feline, demanded snuggles in Rizal, the Philippines, on August 26.

Footage shows the furry creature lying on the arm of the woman who was typing on the keyboard. Moments later, the animal moves closer, extending its paw toward the chest of its owner.

Claire said in the video: 'How can I work if one of my arms can't move? I can't work properly.'

Despite her plea, the cat ignored her and continued to rest on her arm, causing her to sigh.

The pet owner said: 'Nox is a very clingy and cuddly cat. He is my stress reliever, and I love him so much.'

Cats show affection through physical closeness. Cuddling is one way they express their trust and attachment to their human companions.
