On the morning of September 9, a bizarre traffic accident occurred in a parking lot in Yantai, Shandong.

Surveillance footage shows a parked white car suddenly accelerating and crashing into another car parked in front of it. Due to the impact, the front car was pushed into a nearby water pool in the parking lot. Then, while reversing, the white car accidentally hit another car behind it, resembling a game of bumper cars. Fortunately, no one was inside the two vehicles at the time of the collisions, so no injuries were reported.

According to information gathered, the driver of the white car, a woman, had just finished her business at a nearby bank. She claimed that she was unfamiliar with operating her newly acquired automatic car and accidentally selected the wrong gear, leading to the accident.

After the incident, the driver reported the accident to her insurance company and arranged for a crane to pull the submerged vehicle out of the water.

Both parties are currently in negotiations to resolve the matter.
