On the evening of September 30, in Kunming, Yunnan, a massive traffic jam occurred on the highway due to the travel rush during the National Day holiday. To pass the time, two men got out of their car and started playing badminton in a tunnel.

According to a witness, Ms. Fan, the traffic jam had lasted for two or three hours, and people were getting frustrated. However, when she saw the two men playing badminton on the highway, she found it amusing, which lifted her mood significantly.

According to the Ministry of Transport's analysis and forecast, this year's National Day holiday will see an estimated 1.94 billion cross-regional trips, with a very high percentage of self-driving travel—expected to exceed 80%, reaching 1.526 billion trips. The remaining 20% will use public transportation such as trains, airplanes, and ships.
