Michael Jackson look-alike leads locals in Thriller performance
A Michael Jackson look-alike led a group of dancers performing Thriller on a street to mark Halloween.
Footage shows the flash mob with Daryl Peter Paul Verzosa commanding as the King of Pop while tourists watched from the side in Benguet, the Philippines on October 27.
The Filipino pop icon impersonator wore a similar red jacket and pants with padded shoulders and black shoes while doing the popular choreography with other performers.
They danced through the street to the end of the song, earning applause from the visitors.
Daryl said: 'I organised the Thriller performance as a flash mob.
'We practised three hours a day for four days. Initially, it was planned to be at least 50 dancers but there were fewer that joined due to the recent typhoon.
'It was still a success and we were happy that the people who watched loved our performance.'
Michael Jackson was an American singer, songwriter, and dancer, often referred to as the 'King of Pop.' He gained fame in the 1960s as a member of the Jackson 5 band and later achieved success as a solo artist, particularly with albums like Thriller, which remains one of the best-selling albums of all time.
