Honolulu, United States - October 28, 2024 In a high-stakes rescue, the U.S. Coast Guard airlifted a captain suffering chest pains and severe shortness of breath from the 85-foot commercial fishing vessel Triple Andy, stationed 65 miles offshore from Honolulu on October 28. An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point swiftly responded, flying out to the vessel after receiving the distress call from the Triple Andy crew. The captain, whose condition had become urgent, was carefully hoisted aboard the helicopter for immediate medical care.
