US, Las Vegas: Baker Planned Power Outage Affects Electric Vehicle Owners On Interstate 15 With Sound On Tape

Las Vegas, United States - November 08, 2024 11/08/2024 12:18 am (GMT-0800) BAKER, Calif. – A planned power outage will cover 90 miles of the I-15 near Baker from Thursday at 10 p.m. until Friday at 6 a.m. Warning signs are posted in both directions along the I-15 north and southbound lanes stating that the outage will occur from Nov. 7, 2024, to Nov. 8, 2024. Drivers should plan ahead before leaving for their destinations. Many electric vehicle owners have found themselves running out of battery in Baker. Southern California Edison released a statement regarding this incident: "As part of our long-term plan to modernize the energy grid we will be making upgrades in your area.
