"I was surprised to see that China is already producing large ships that are run on ammonia. This is very interesting for us. I mean we are also working on ammonia-ready ships. And it's also because Norway has 100-year experience in producing ammonia through electrolysis because we have a lot of green energy that we can use for that, hydroelectricity. So this was very surprising and interesting."

"When I see all that China already has of this technology, there are also so many opportunities for Norwegian companies and Chinese companies to cooperate on developing together new solutions and new technologies to drive the green shift in the maritime industry absolutely.
Chinese technology has surprised I think all of us outside of China, because the progress has been going so fast. Chinese technology development, now it's on a very high level and this is definitely in the maritime sector."
