STORYLINE:

With overseas demand on the rise, lithium-ion batteries, electric vehicles and solar batteries have become a new "tech-intensive green trio" of key Chinese exports.

A Pakistani official has said that such exports have helped combat climate change and contribute to global green development.

"I believe that Chinese leadership has taken the lead in this industry and such as electrical vehicles, of course. The lithium-ion batteries, of course, that is one of its kind, and they are the super sort of things in which, like, how they are safe as well. And when you talk about these products in the global green development and combating climate change, I think the export of these new products is amazing. And the whole world, not only it's going to help the environment, it helped the climate. I must say that it's one of the great (things) going to be the source by providing advanced, affordable technology. And not only providing, in fact, always China supports others as well for the great technology transformation as well."

She added that other countries can draw experiences from China's green development efforts.

"I love that, the way China has worked a lot on the GDI, that Global Development Initiative. And in that way they have proved to the world, how they not only achieved the goals and how they're working on it.
I believe that as China prioritizes the high quality of innovation-driven and eco-friendly development, which they are doing in China, I think it's a great learning for other countries as well. The global green development side, they're working on it, it's one of its own kind."
