This is the hilarious moment a cheeky stray dog was caught on CCTV stealing a shoe from outside a shop

A local left his black slippers at the doorway of Pra Neat Grocery Store while he went inside to buy a drink in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, on December 3.

Footage shows the cheeky white canine walking towards the entrance and grabbing one of the slippers.

It then immediately ran away and even looked back to see if it had been spotted by the owner of the shoe.

After buying the can of soda, the man walked out and saw that his other slipper was missing, prompting him to look around.

The store owner said: 'The dog always does that, and it was kind of funny. We forgot to warn the man about the dog, and it was too late.'

In many parts of Asia, it is customary to leave shoes outside before entering a peron's home. Some locals also continue the tradition when they visit a small, family-run shop.
