Helicopter rescues stranded hiker in Valencia, Spain
This is the heroic moment a helicopter rescues a stranded hiker in Valencia, Spain.
Footage shows the aircraft approaching the hiker, who reportedly injured her foot after falling from the Falconera Via Ferrata in La Marxuquera on December 8.
Bombers Valencia quickly responded with a medical team that treated the injury.
The mountaineer was then transported to the Alzira helipad and handed over to medical personnel for further care.
In another incident, two mountaineers stranded in the Morana ravine in Anon de Moncayo were rescued following a three-hour operation by the Civil Guard on November 24. Officials confirmed that the hikers were unharmed.
