Teacher calmly catches snake in classroom as pupils scream
A teacher calmly caught a snake in the classroom as his pupils screamed.
The physical education instructor was called to the room when the serpent was found slithering on the corner while the kids were having science class in Kanchanaburi province, Thailand.
Footage shows the scared children standing on their desks while the adult carefully handled the reptile.
He used a metal rod to lure the snake out of its hiding space behind a box and guided it to an empty water bottle before being taken out of the classroom.
Teacher Suputcha Kapploy said: ‘I called for help, and fortunately, one of my colleagues knew what to do.'
The gree tree snake, a non-venomous species that feeds primarily on smaller reptiles, was later turned over to authorities who released it later into the wild.
