Bus catches fire forcing passengers to flee inferno
A bus caught fire, forcing passengers to flee the inferno in Indonesia.
Footage shows the vehicle engulfed in flames, with smoke billowing from it, creating a fiery red scene.
Authorities said the Sinar Muda bus, traveling from Makassar to Sorowako, East Luwu, caught fire in Anabanua Tarumpekkae, Wajo Regency, on Saturday, December 7, around 12:28 am.
The incident is believed to have been caused by an electrical short circuit in the bus engine's ignition system.
No fatalities have been reported. A thorough investigation is underway.
