Twisting taxi route baffles passengers in China
On December 7, 2024, in Zhanjiang, located in southern China’s Guangdong province, a video captured a peculiar setup at the Zhanjiang West Railway Station. The station’s entrance featured an unusual series of winding lanes for taxis to navigate before reaching passengers.
Although the pick-up point was close by, taxi drivers were forced to make numerous sharp turns within the fenced lanes, resembling the zigzag movements of a "snake game." The filmer humorously commented on the excessive twists, joking that the drivers’ steering wheels might overheat from the effort.
