CHP Logs indicate the crash occurred when a black Audi sedan, previously stalled in the #4 lane, began moving and struck two vehicles parked on the right shoulder. Witnesses reported that three individuals were outside their cars on the shoulder when the Audi collided with them. One pedestrian was reportedly pinned between vehicles. Emergency responders pronounced one pedestrian deceased at the scene. Another individual was captured on video being transported to a local hospital with injuries of unknown severity. The condition of the third individual was not disclosed. The incident prompted a hard closure of the Madison Street on-ramp to westbound 91, with traffic being diverted off the freeway at Madison.
