This is the moment a little girl stole the show at her pre-school's Christmas recital.

Mum Courtney Allen, 31, was filming her daughter in her pre-school Christmas recital when Cevyn, four, surprised her with the performance of a lifetime.

Cevyn has achondroplasia, the most common form on dwarfism, and is the only little person in her entire family history.

Funny video shows Cevyn giving her all by making emotive facial expressions and strongly committing to the choreographed dance moves.

Courtney, a stay-at-home mum in Orange County, California, said: "I was absolutely blown away."

"Cevyn had rehearsed with us at home but she had never shown this side before."

"She enjoys watching the Eras Tour on Disney Plus and her dad has Jamaican heritage so he takes her to Caribbean parties where people dance a lot."

"I think she just got up there and thought 'Ok, now's my time to shine'."

"Her dad and I were just smiling while watching and trying not to overshadow the other parents with our praise."

After the show was over, Cevyn kept asking to see the video of herself and seemed very proud of herself.

Courtney said: "She was so happy after she got off stage."

"She was asking to see the video over and over again."

"Parents and teachers kept coming up to us to congratulate her on her performance, saying how great she'd been."

"I think we're going to start teaching her musical instrument so she can pursue this if she wants to."

"She obviously has the passion for it!"
