A report from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) entitled "Indonesia Coffee Annual" states that coffee consumption in Indonesia in the period 2024/2025 is expected to increase by 10,000 bags. From 4.45 million bags in the 2020/2021 period to 4.8 million bags this year. One bag of coffee is equivalent to 60 kg of coffee, so the accumulated coffee consumption this year is around 288,000 tons of coffee.

Meanwhile, Statista noted, the market value of instant and roasted coffee, both for consumption at home and outside the home, is expected to continue to increase from 2024 to 2028. The market value of Indonesian coffee in 2025 is estimated to reach 11.58 billion US dollars.
