Aftermath of Flash Floods, Three Villages Isolated in Solok, West Sumatra, Indonesia
Residents work together to clear away debris, wood, and mud at the site of flash floods that hit three villages: Saniangbaka, Paninggahan, and Muaro Pingai, Junjung Sirih District, Solok Regency, West Sumatra, Saturday, November 29, 2025.
Following the flash floods and landslides that struck Solok Regency, the three villages were isolated due to blocked road access, hampering the distribution of logistics and aid to the affected areas.
Data from the Junjung Sirih District Head recorded 60 houses and buildings damaged in Paninggahan, 50 houses in Muaro Pingai, and 30 houses in Saniangbaka.
