Wedding party relatives had water lapping at their feet when heavy rain flooded the ceremony.

The unfazed newlywed couple, Mark Anthony Romualdo and Jocelyn Mapusao, pushed through with their dream wedding despite heavy rainfall caused by a shear line.

Analie Rosales and her family attended the reception, which was held in the backyard of the celebrants, despite knee-deep muddy water causing a flood.

Footage shows guests standing while eating at a long table, seemingly unbothered by the deluge in Sorsogon, the Philippines, on January 9.

Analie said: 'We didn't really care about the flooded reception. Despite what happened, we were grateful to be part of the celebration for the lovely couple. Nothing could dampen our spirits.'

The shear line, caused by the convergence of warm air from the easterlies and cool air from the northeast monsoon, brings cloudy skies, scattered rain, and isolated thunderstorms to some regions in the country.
