Jinhua, China - January 12, 2025 A woman, in a fit of anger after an argument with her child, climbed a 40-meter high power tower, only to find herself stuck in freezing conditions, unable to move. The incident occurred recently when the woman, wearing minimal clothing, began to suffer from hypothermia due to the near-zero temperatures. Jinhua Fire Department responded to the emergency, quickly outfitting rescuers with protective gear and using a ladder truck to begin a rope rescue operation. With time running out and the woman's condition deteriorating, the team worked tirelessly to bring her safely to the ground. She was then placed on a stretcher and handed over to emergency medical personnel for further treatment. The rescue highlights the urgent nature of the situation, as the woman’s desperate actions put her life at serious risk in the freezing cold.
