Teen fights for life after being stabbed outside McDonald's
A teenager is fighting for his life in hospital after being brutally stabbed outside a McDonald's restaurant.
Armed police descended on the fast food branch in Olton, Solihull, West Mids., after the 19-year-old man was attacked at around 7.30pm yesterday (Thurs).
The victim was rushed to hospital by paramedics where he remains being treated for life-threatening injuries.
West Midlands Police are now hunting the knifeman and have urged anyone with information to get in touch.
A force spokesperson said: "We are investigating after a man was found with stab injuries in Solihull yesterday evening."
"We were called to Masons Way in Olton, Solihull, just before 7.30pm yesterday (Thursday). "
"A 19-year-old man was found injured nearby on Warwick Road."
"He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains."
"Our officers remain at the scene carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances of what happened."
"We also remain at Warwick Road."
"Anyone who has any information, or has any dashcam or doorbell footage, is asked to contact us via 101 or Live Chat, quoting log 4658 of 16 January."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing on Warwick Road in Olton, Solihull, at 7.31pm last night. "
"An ambulance, two paramedic officers, a critical care paramedic, a doctor and the Midlands Air Ambulance critical care car from Cosford were sent to the scene."
"On arrival, crews found a man with serious injuries. He received treatment from ambulance staff before being conveyed under emergency conditions to hospital."
