Footage shows the moment a woman was rescued from her home in Alaska following Typhoon Halong.

Floodwaters have destroyed remote communities across Alaska after Typhoon Halong battered the state.

The video shows the moment Alaska Air National Guard rescue personnel conducted search and rescue operations over Kipnuk, Alaska.

A woman was airlifted from her home, which was surrounded by floodwater.

The devastating floods were fueled by remnants of Typhoon Halong, which originated in the northern Philippine Sea on October 5, 2025.

The typhoon brought massive flooding that swept across the west coast of Alaska, dumping more than six feet of water in some areas.

The Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management continues to work with the Alaska Organized Militia and the U.S. Coast Guard during ongoing recovery operations.

The video was filmed on October 12, 2025.
