Quick-thinking dad runs to grab child who almost falls into pond
A quick-thinking dad ran to grab his child, who almost fell into a pond.
Yod Chai heard his six-year-old son's frantic scream, prompting him to rush to his side in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on January 16.
CCTV footage shows the boy falling from a chair, hitting the ground headfirst, with his stomach slamming into a metal fence.
The child can be heard screaming in pain, nearly falling into the water as he tried to stand up.
Meanwhile, his father dashed over and immediately checked if he was okay. Yod is seen hugging his son, comforting him, and carrying him out of the yard to take him inside the house.
Yod Chai, the dad, said: 'Luckily, I heard him and rushed to help before he fell into the pond. He's okay, but his tummy hurts from the fall.'
