Snow fell across New Jersey amid a winter cold snap.

Footage captured by Ruben Carrillo shows continuous snowfall covering roads and streets with accumulated snow on February 9.

Media reports indicated that snowfall totals in the state ranged between two to five inches, along with an icy glaze left behind as sleet compressed the snow accumulation.

Local forecasters warned residents that more snow could be on the way later this week.
Gusty northwesterly winds between 15 and 35 mph could add to the wintry chill, with occasional gusts reaching 40 mph.

The weather is expected to be calmer on Monday, February 10, with a mix of sun and clouds before the next round of snow arrives.

Cleaning efforts are underway to prevent road blockages during the harsh winter weather.

Winter in New Jersey typically lasts from December to March.
