Brave bar girls helped break up a mass brawl that erupted between tourists in Phuket, Thailand.

The girls were on their way home after a night entertaining customers when a fight unfolded outside a club in the early morning hours of February 14.

Footage shows a woman trying to block a foreigner who was chasing another holidaymaker along a pavement.

She shoved a bouquet of flowers on him while holding a cup of coffee and a bag in her other hand.

However, the tourist slipped past her and the men exchanged punches. More bystanded joined in the chaos before a blonde-haired woman in skimpy red dress tried to pull them away.

Another bar girl helped to stop the fight until bouncers controlled the situation.

A Thai bystander cheered the bar girls, amazed at the girls. He said: 'Good, good.'

Phuket has become one of Asia's most popular tourist destinations, but it has also attracted criminals and rowdy holidaymakers.

Furious locals have been blaming the Thai government's free visa policy for the influx of 'low-quality tourists' in the country. The scheme was implemented to boost income from Thailand's tourism industry.
