This is the funny moment a DIY enthusiast's attempt at renovating her bathroom tiles turned into a disaster with grout all over her face, hands and feet.

Tina Foster, 50, who had had a few drinks had planned to strip a bathroom cabinet but in a burst of impulsivity decided to tackle the grouting as well.

However, things quickly spiralled out of control when she accidentally trod black grout all over the floor.

By the end of the night, Tina was left her with a ruined floor, scratched tiles and a wobbly toilet.

Tina, from Sussex, UK said: "I had an idea to strip the bathroom cabinet and somehow that led to me grouting the tiles."

"I thought I'd just do a quick grout job but the more I did, the worse it got. "

"By 10pm, I was in a right mess so I had another vodka! "

"Unfortunately, I ended up walking the grout everywhere and that was the beginning of the disaster."

Tina ended up having to replace the flooring, repaint and eventually redo the tiles entirely - all of which took two weeks to fix.

Tina said: "I ripped up the flooring, stripped the cupboard and somehow made the toilet wobbly too."

"It took me two weeks to put it all right and I still need to replace the tiles because I scratched them trying to remove the old grout!"
