US, Los Angeles: Pacoima Hydrant Sheared In Crash
Los Angeles, United States - September 22, 2025 09/21/2025 09:51 pm GMT-0700 PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles firefighters and police responded to a report of a crash at the intersection of San Fernando Road and Osborne Street. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that a BMW SUV had struck a fire hydrant, causing it to shear off and water to shoot into the air. Crews called for additional resources to manage the situation with the damaged hydrant. The driver of the BMW was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not disclosed. The crash also resulted in a 35 mph speed limit sign being knocked over. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the incident.
