Storyline: Israel's resumed military operations in Gaza Strip have left more homes destroyed and families bereaved across the war-torn region. The Israeli military carried out deadly bombardments across the Gaza Strip early Tuesday, killing more than 400 people, mostly women, children, and the elderly. It vowed to intensify attacks if Hamas does not release the hostages still held in the enclave. Families of victims said they were horrified by the new wave of brutal attacks. Hundreds of families were forcibly displaced deeper into Palestinian cities. According to one resident of a camp in north Gaza, residents in the nearby cities of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahya began fleeing to the camp as early as 06:00. Despite the immense challenges, residents insisted they would not succumb to Israel's pressure. Attacks continued on Wednesday as an Israeli airstrike killed at least 16 Palestinians and wounded at least 30 after hitting a crowd of mourners in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday evening, according to Gaza health authorities. Over 430 Palestinian deaths have been reported since Tuesday, when Israel resumed strikes, ending a weeks-long ceasefire that began on Jan. 19. Shotlist: Gaza Strip - March 18, 2025: 1.
