A Russian couple sparked outrage as they romped on a beach in front of shocked locals in Thailand.

The randy tourists left their clothes on the sand while splashing around in the sea in their underwear as onlookers watched in the coastal town of Pattaya.

Unfazed by the dozens of people looking, the lovers proceeded to make out before appearing to have sex while half-submerged.

Shocking footage shows the pair bobbing up and down in the water as they thrusted in full view of the public. Some tourists even took a seat at the edge of the sea for a better view of the raunchy spectacle.

Concerned bystanders tried to tell the couple to stop, but their warnings went unheeded as the Russians continued their apparent lovemaking. They eventually returned to the shore, collected their clothes and walked away.

A furious onlooker said: 'The couple looked like they were having sex for a long time. What you see in the video was actually the second time they were doing it, which took place in front of many people who recorded them.

'Despite the crowd, they were absolutely shameless and continued to be exhibitionists in front of the cameras. This has greatly damaged the image of Pattaya as a tourist city.

'There should be more officers on patrol to keep these incidents from happening in risky areas.'

Police said that they had been made aware of the video and would investigate the case.

Lieutenant Sakkayaparp Chaidech from the city's station said: 'The video does not confirm whether the tourists were having sex. However, we would like to speak to them to confirm what happened.

'We will educate them on how to conduct themselves in public in order to avoid this kind of situation again.'

Thai 'Sin City' Pattaya has become a popular tropical haven for Russians escaping the war with neighbouring Ukraine. However, the clash of cultures between the former heavy-drinking former Soviet powerhouse and the polite locals has seen chaos erupt in the tourist destination.

On February 4, 2024, a naked couple were seen romping just yards away from fellow tourists on Jomtien Beach. While on March 13, 2024, a woman was spotted straddling a man after closing time outside the Terminal 2 Pattaya shopping mall. 

While on February 22 this year, a couple were spotted having sex on top of a concrete bench at the Krating Lai Beach.

Former fishing village Pattaya became popular with American troops on 'rest and relaxation' breaks in the 1950s and 1960s when the U.S. military had bases in Thailand while fighting Communism in Vietnam. Rural families are said to have even dressed their sons as women to cash in on the gold rush.

The handful of bars in the coastal town quickly grew and it is now the world's biggest sex holiday destination, with round-the-clock prostitution and drugs - a modern-day Sodom and Gomorrah rife with crime and debauchery.

Government chiefs have attempted to clean up the city, but regular violence, depravity and claims of corruption continue to blight its reputation.
