Phoenix, United States - April 12, 2025 04/12/2025 04:00 am (GMT-0700) SURPRISE, Ariz. – Surprise police officers and Surprise Fire Department medical crews responded to reports of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Waddell Road and Cotton Lane around 4:00 a.m. Saturday. Crews arrived to find a red sedan with driver-side damage and an overturned vehicle in the intersection. One occupant in the overturned vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. At least two other involved parties were hospitalized. Their conditions are unknown. A hard closure was established for the intersection. Surprise police officers are expected to remain at the scene investigating the incident throughout the morning.
