A pet dog wearing a gold chain and helmet while sitting on a motorcycle with its owner delighted onlookers.

Footage shows the Aspin pooch perched confidently on the front of a two-wheeler while waiting at the red light stop in Manila, the Philippines.

The canine, which also had a blue jersey outfit on, was well-behaved and patiently stayed put as they were caught in a traffic jam.

Maria Paula Zarate, who was in a car beside the mutt, rolled down her window to greet the hound on March 15.

She said: 'I approached a dog on a motorcycle along Pasig and said hello.'

Aspin dogs are typically mixed-breed with no specific pedigree. They come in various sizes and coat colours, from short to medium-length fur, and can resemble many different breeds.
