A tourist went from excited to terrified, then burst into tears and started singing during her first skydive.

Gillian Kristine Balaba booked the extreme adventure on her 30th birthday in Siquijor, the Philippines.

Footage captured the emotional rollercoaster as Gillian was all smiles before jumping off the aircraft with a guide.

The thrill-seeker screamed during her first few seconds of descent, trying to soak up the view.

When the parachute was deployed, she had a burst of emotions.

She said: 'That was amazing. I love my life. I want to do it again. Let's do it again.'

Gillian was enjoying the view with the guide smiling behind her.

However, when the pair turned to face the sunset, Gillian became tearful and started to cry.

She said: 'It's so beautiful I could cry.'

The visitor asked the guide if she could sing and belted a few lines of Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth's 'Defying Gravity'.

Gillian continued her performance, with only the guide to watch her, smiling widely behind her while fixing the camera so it would capture her perfectly.

When Gillian touched down, she was screaming and cheering with her friends on April 12.
