Dashcam footage shows the enraged animal charging at the woman while she was walking along the pavement in Quang Ninh.

One motorist stepped out of his vehicle and cautiously tried to prod the horned beast, but he quickly backed away in fear of being attacked.

The victim could be heard screaming as the buffalo gored and dragged her to the ground.

Moments later, the animal ran off, while the injured woman, missing her shorts, scrambled away to safety.

Local media reported that she did not sustain any serious injuries, and animal control officers later managed to subdue the buffalo.
