Four men lit the pyrotechnic in their backyard when it hit the front right wheel of the white vehicle in Jinan, Shandong, on February 3.
CCTV footage shows the locals frantically running away from the firecracker before it exploded.
The firework fell in a horizontal position, prompting the explosion to land on the four-wheeler, resulting in significant damage that requires heavy repairs.
No one was reportedly injured in the incident.
