Toddler accidentally sets chair alight nearly burning down family home
A toddler accidentally set a chair alight while playing, nearly burning down her family home.
The youngster ignited the cushion of a chair with a lighter, causing the flames to spread quickly across the fabric in Chanthaburi, Thailand.
CCTV footage shows the panicked child blowing and swatting at the fire without success on December 28.
She then fled the scene as the flames grew larger, filling the room with thick, dark smoke.
The homeowner said: 'We heard the sound of glass shattering and rushed to check what was happening.'
Adults dragged the burning chairs into the street and managed to bring the fire under control.
However, the sliding glass doors behind them were shattered by the heat although no one was injured.
