This is the reckless moment a tourist rode a BMX while clinging to a moving truck in Thailand.

The rider sparked alarm as he was dragged by the truck along a road on the popular tourist island of Phuket on January 7.

Footage shows the helmetless man gliding forward without pedalling as he gripped the side of the vehicle ahead with one hand.
His brown unbuttoned shirt fluttered in the wind as he sped past traffic.

An onlooker said: 'There are always people like this. Be careful, if you slip up, you will end up six feet under.'

Phuket is a well-known beach destination for tourists, many of whom rent scooters and bikes to explore the island. But winding roads, inexperienced riders, and disregard for local traffic rules can cause serious accidents involving the visitors.
