Thai food seller imitates Salt Bae as he prepares steak on market stall
This is the amusing moment a Thai food vendor entertained customers by imitating Salt Bae while preparing steak at a market stall.
The vendor, dressed in a white shirt, sunglasses, and sporting slicked-back hair, channelled the famous Turkish chef's flair as he cooked at his stall in Krabi, Thailand.
Footage shows him wearing black gloves, dramatically slicing the steak before using a torch to sear it in front of amused onlookers on May 11.
He then mimics Salt Bae's iconic move, raising his hand with a bent elbow to theatrically sprinkle salt over the meat.
Salt Bae, whose real name is Nusret Gokce, became an internet star in 2017 after a viral video showed him flamboyantly seasoning steak with a theatrical flourish.
His signature moves, combined with his distinctive look, pushed him to fame and attracted celebrities to his luxury Nusr-Et steakhouse chain around the world.
