This is the moment a Russian tourist was arrested for public nudity in Indonesia.

Viktor, 36, sparked alarm when he allegedly broke into the National Monument in Jakarta without wearing any clothes on April 29.

Soldiers and police arrived to detain him when the security guards caught him. They wrapped a blanket around him.

Footage shows a half-naked Viktor being dragged out of the obelisk-like monument by officers. They carried him down the stairs, exposing the injured soles of his feet, which were blistered from running around barefoot.

The rampaging Ruski was initially refused to speak, but later allegedly confessed that he had travelled to Jakarta after visiting Mount Bromo alone. He claimed he destroyed his IDs and passport shortly after arriving in Indonesia.

Viktor was bundled into a police truck to be taken to the Central Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters for further examination.

Police said the case was handed over to the Central Jakarta Immigration Office.
