Sandy Springs Police Catch Jaywalking T-Rex Without Permit
SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A roaring suspect drew laughs, not citations, after police encountered a person in a Tyrannosaurus rex costume jaywalking through town.
In a lighthearted video shared by the Sandy Springs Police Department, an officer is seen playfully interacting with the costumed dinosaur, who had been “roaring without a permit.”
The department joked the prehistoric pedestrian was “dino-sorely mistaken” if they thought they could outrun local law enforcement.
No actual laws were broken, and the department reminded the public that a little humor goes a long way in building community spirit.
