Heroic Action of Firefighters to Extinguish Fire at PT Teluk Luas Padang Rubber Factory
A major fire hit the PT Teluk Luas Rubber Factory in Padang at 12.00 WIB. Until 18.00 WIB, the flames had not been extinguished. The flammable rubber and plastic materials made the extinguishing process very difficult.
In an effort to extinguish the fire, in addition to officers from the Padang City Fire Department, a number of fleets and personnel were also assisted from various agencies and regions. Assistance came from the Pelindo Fire Department, the Indonesian Navy, and from neighboring cities and regencies, including: Pariaman City, Padang Panjang City, Solok City, Padang Pariaman Regency, Bukittinggi City, Payakumbuh City, Tanah Datar Regency, and Solok Regency.
