Armed cops catch suspected MS13 gangster living illegally in Florida
Armed police arrested a suspected MS-13 gang member living illegally in Florida.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials confirmed the arrest of Ever Manuel Bonilla-Moran, an alleged affiliate of the brutal gang and an immigrant lacking permanent legal status, at a home in Orlando on Friday, June 20.
Footage shows officers surrounding Bonilla-Moran's residence before he eventually steps outside with two other individuals, raising his hands in surrender.
He was then handcuffed and escorted to a waiting vehicle.
ICE authorities said: 'He illegally entered the United States the first time at or near Pharr, Texas, on or around April 8, 2014, without inspection by an immigration officer at a designated port of entry.'
He was issued an expedited removal order by the US Border Patrol and deported on May 7 of the same year. However, he later re-entered the country at an unknown time and location.
The arrest was carried out with assistance from the Florida Highway Patrol and the FBI.
MS-13, short for Mara Salvatrucha, is a transnational criminal gang initially formed by Salvadoran immigrants in Los Angeles during the 1980s for self-protection.
Over time, the group evolved into a violent enterprise known for murder, drug trafficking, extortion, and other serious crimes. It has since spread across Central America and parts of the United States and is classified as a criminal organisation by U.S. law enforcement.
