This is the amusing moment a moose wandered into a garage to inspect a fire truck in Alaska.

Footage shows the curious mother deer, accompanied by her calves, paying an unexpected visit to the Anchorage Fire Department on June 24.

The fire crew said the creature seemed to quietly check out the vehicle before calmly heading back outside with her babies.

Authorities added: 'She seemed satisfied it'd serve well in the event of a wildfire. She took her calves back to their regular habitat without providing feedback.'

Moose are the largest members of the deer family and are native to North America and northern Eurasia. While generally not aggressive, they can be unpredictable and dangerous, especially if they feel threatened or if calves are nearby. Despite their size, moose are known to be intelligent, adaptable, and surprisingly agile in the wild.
