Bakersfield, United States - July 08, 2025 07/08/2025 12:24 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a shooting after a man was shot inside a manufactured home park in the 400 block of Pacheco Road at Tierra Del Sol around 12:24 a.m., according to initial reports. The Bakersfield Fire Department and Hall Ambulance responded to the scene for medical aid but cleared shortly after arrival. Preliminary details indicate that a man and a woman inside the home came into contact with the woman’s father, and the woman’s boyfriend allegedly shot the father in the kitchen. The victim reportedly sustained major injuries and possibly died at the scene. This information has not been confirmed. Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded. The suspected shooter was taken into police custody at the scene. Two women, two toddlers, and an infant were seen exiting the residence.
